RBSHS Football Homecoming will be September 8th Red Boiling Springs Bulldogs vs. Mt. Juliet Christian Academy game time is 7:00 PM. The football homecoming parade will leave from Red Boiling Springs School at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, September 8th. All students driving in the homecoming parade must register their type of vehicle and pay the entry fee to Ms. Naramore. Any student riding with another student must turn in a permission slip with the driver. RBSHS Service Learning Food Drive At this time, our backpack grant is for 90 students county-wide. We have well over 200 students on the list. Service Learning is stocking a food pantry at school as well as sending home our own food bags on Fridays (or more as students need). All donations can be turned in from students to their 1st-block/1st-period teacher. However, any public donations please turn in to the front office or Mike's Food Valu in RBS. RBSHS will have a box set up at Mike's Food Valu for the community to place non-perishables in. (730 Lafayette Rd, Red Boiling Springs, TN 37150)

The Coca-Cola Scholars Program scholarship is an achievement-based scholarship awarded to students in their final year of high school. Students are recognized for their capacity to lead and serve, as well as their commitment to making a significant impact on their schools and communities. With the 35th class in 2023, the Foundation has provided over 6,750 Coca-Cola Scholars with more than $81 million in educational support. 150 Coca-Cola Scholars are selected each year to receive this $20,000 scholarship. The 2024 application is now open here for students who will graduate during the 2023-2024 academic year. The deadline to apply is Monday, October 2, 2023, by 5 pm Eastern. Financial Aid Meeting at Red Boiling Springs High School Red Boiling Springs High School will be hosting a financial aid meeting on Tuesday, August 15 at 6:00 pm in the cafeteria. Dustin Rawls, Outreach Specialist for the Tennessee Student Assistance Corporation, will provide financial aid information to seniors who plan on furthering their education after high school. He will discuss the Tennessee Education Lottery Scholarship Program, TN Promise, how to obtain state and federal grants and loans, as well as the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) application. Seniors and their parents should attend this meeting if they plan to attend any school after graduation.

Red Boiling Springs Named National Beta School of Merit Red Boiling Springs, TN, 7/31/23 - Macon County Schools is proud to announce that Red Boiling Springs School is a 2022-2023 National Beta School of Merit. The school earned this recognition by offering National Beta to all eligible grades on their campus. National Junior Beta includes grades 4-8 and National Senior Beta includes grades 9-12. The National Beta School of Merit award is given to honor a club’s dedication and commitment to academic excellence. To achieve this prestigious honor, a school must include members from all eligible grade levels in its Beta club. This year, only 3,583 Beta Clubs across the country received this award.

Any student who did not finish the school year with RBSHS last year or is brand new must register in the guidance office tomorrow 8/1 during registration from 8-10 AM.

Here we go 🏃🏻🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏻‍♂️…. grades 3rd-12th We are at the end of Dead Period and ready to get started with Cross Country. I understand that some may be on vacation or may be taking vacation in the next couple of weeks. We are looking to be more competitive this year and want everyone to be willing to put in the work. 🏃🏻‍♂️🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏻 Junior High 2 mile and High School 3 mile. With this being said…. We have to be dedicated and willing to be there for our team. We are excited to get started. 🔴 Monday, July 10th will be our first practice. It will be at 8 am in the morning at the walking track (blue park). There is a form that needs to be completed to run that the board is requiring this year. We will have the forms there. Please make sure to bring your sports physical also! We understand that some may have to work and cannot make this early morning practice please make sure your child gets a 1 mile run in on Monday. ⚪️ Tuesday, July 11th will be at 6:30 pm. If you have not brought physical, please make sure you have it turned in. We will practice this week at the blue park. Next week we will have alternative places to run for practice. If you have any questions please feel free to contact Lindsey Cowan or Nikki West. We will be using Team Reach App this year. This is where schedules and info will be posted. CTE Ag and FACS campers visited Acres of Grace Farm. Students learned about daily life of farms and agritourism. Acres of Grace talked about how they orchestrate Southern Market Sale and their wedding venue.
