MCHS Senior Awards Night will be held on Friday, May 13 at 6:00 pm in the Nera White Gymnasium. Seniors who are receiving scholarships or other awards are strongly urged to attend. Family and friends are invited.

MCHS Volleyball will have conditioning for tryouts on Wednesday, May 25th from 3:00-5:30. Tryouts will be held Thursday, May 26th from 10:00-11:00. Any 9th-12th graders for the 2022-2023 school year wanting to try out must attend both days at MCHS. Questions please contact Brooke Smith at 615-888-6407.

MCHS Seniors & Family: The MCHS Baccalaureate Ceremony will be Sunday, May 15th at 3:00 pm in the J.Y. Carter Auditorium at MCHS. We would like to encourage seniors and their families to attend.

ATTENTION MCHS STUDENTS---Macon County High School yearbooks are selling out fast. Get yours while supplies last. Yearbook staff members will continue selling yearbooks during all lunch lines at MCHS until May 6th! Yearbooks are $90. We accept cash only. Get your MCHS Yearbook, today!

MCHS BOYS BASKETBALL TRYOUTS for upcoming 10th-12th grade will be held tomorrow, April 27th from 3:00-5:00 in the MCHS gym. Upcoming MCHS 9th graders will have try-outs at a later date.

MCHS Seniors: Cap/Gown/Announcement delivery will be Thursday, March 31st from 11:00-12:30 in room 205 (please wait to be called out of class). December graduates can come by anytime 11-12:30, or any day after delivery day if this isn't convenient. If you owe a balance, you must pay with cash or card on delivery day. Personal checks will not be accepted. If you have questions, call Mrs. Porter at 615-666-4320, ext. 1212.

On Thursday, May 12, 2022, the Macon Co. Chamber will be sponsoring Teacher Appreciation. School will dismiss at 12:00 on this day.

If you were unable to attend your child's Parent Night at MCHS to approve their course selections for the following school year, please click on the link below for instructions to view and approve your child's requests. The yearbook will be packed with student portraits, events, sports, candids, and activities and is the best and most permanent way for your student to remember this school year. To be 100% guaranteed to have a yearbook for your child, you must purchase by February 25, if you have not already. After that date, yearbooks may be available for purchase later, but you take the risk of the school selling out and your child missing out on the yearbook. ****MCHS SENIORS**** Cap and Gown pictures for current seniors are next week. Girls pictures are February 1, 2022. Girls should wear a V-neck shirt. Boys pictures are February 2, 2022. Boys should wear a white, button-down shirt with a solid colored tie. Please see the attached schedule for your appointment time. Due to the threat of severe weather tonight and tomorrow, Macon County High School is rescheduling Saturday’s ACT test for next Saturday, December 18. Students will receive an email from ACT with further information.

Due to potential bad weather Friday night/early Saturday morning, students taking the December 11 ACT need to check their emails and the Macon County Schools App for testing updates on Saturday morning before testing.
